Abstract
‘Imagining Wellness’ seeks to explore how universities can create an environment in which students’ wellbeing can flourish. This project was funded by the Student Mental Health Research Network (SMaRteN) to investigate how non-clinical interventions in the university environment could strengthen student wellbeing. Researchers from the University of East Anglia worked in collaboration with SMaRteN and external partners, including the Norfolk Records Office and the East Anglian Film Archive, to examine how young people’s engagement with literature, arts and heritage could inform their understandings of mental health in a university context, and what effect this might have on their wellbeing.
