Supply chain planning and configuration in the global arena—A syncretic perspective

The special issue of International Journal Production Economics is devoted to investigate the planning and configuration for supply chain management from the aspects of economical environment and channel participants in the global arena. Yuan and co-researchers introduce an Air Cargo Supply Chain Operations Reference (ASCCOR) model to examine the integrated impact of airport operating strategies, industrial and economic forces on airport performances.
