The continuum problem: Hilbert’s first problem revisited

Research output: Chapter in Book/Report/Conference proceedingChapter

Abstract

The continuum problem has recently seen a revival, brought about by advances involving strong forcing axioms and other natural principles extending the standard axiomatization for set theory. In this article we survey these developments. This is a slightly edited version of the slides we used in the talk that we gave at the 9 ECM.
