Abstract

To assess whether immunohistochemical expression of the putative invasion suppressor, E-cadherin, is associated with tumour recurrence in colorectal cancer, independent of Dukes' stage and degree of differentiation, and thus to determine whether measurement of E-cadherin is clinically useful.
